Mary Poppins Essay.

Did you ever need something so much, That it floated from the sky when you wanted it? Well in Mary Poppins that's basically what happens. When Mr. Banks family needs a new nanny Mary Poppins floats down from the sky with her umbrella. The Banks family need a new nanny because the children very not well behaved. The movie "Mary Poppins" follows the plotline of romance.

In romance's plotline there is only to points in it. The miner conflict and the life symbolism. The miner conflict is the Mr. Bank and Mrs. Bank need a nanny for there children. They’ve had nannies before but the children are so out of control that the old nanny left and they now need a new one. That's when Mary Poppins comes in!

The life symbolism is that Mr. Bank learns to spend more time with his kids. While they get more behaved by Mary Poppins he starts to learn that he need to spend more time with them. By the end of the story Mr. Bank and Mrs. Bank spend and talk more to there children. For an example if they spent a day with Mary Poppins they ask what they did with her.

Besides just talking about the miner conflict and the life symbolism there is one more details in the plotline that you should never forget; the characteristics. In "Mary Poppins there is a lot of animals. There were foxes, birds, squirrels and more. The parts with a lot of the animals reminded me of "Snow White". When Snow White is singing and cleaning ll the animals join is and help her. There is alot of singing and dancing. Some parts of the movie can be very colorful.

David woke up to the sound of his dads car honking.
He got dressed rubbed his eyes and walked to the window. His dad was sticking his head out the window and waving. "DAVID!!" Were going on a trip!" David ran down stairs opened the door and jumped into the car. "Where are we going?" David asked. His dad answered and said, Alaska.

They pulled out of the drive way of the house and were on there way. They lived in the top of Washington state so it wasn’t a to bad of a drive… David fell asleep. He was dreaming of what Alaska looked like. Snow, trees are white… You could see mountains.

Story Starter!

It was a windy day when the man crossed the road and went into the bus station. He was going to travel to New York to see his new baby grand daughter. It was 11 A.M. He got on the train and was very exhausted. He relaxed in his chair. Almost falling asleep. So he decided to take a nap.

The train stopped in a mysterious tunnel and that's when he woke up. He heard a scream from a women. He was scared. All the passengers were scared. So he took his phone out of his pocket... No signal. Everyone looked out the windows and the lights of the tunnel would turn off then on. They started to hear more and more screams!! Getting closer and closer but after five minutes of nothing but screaming... It stopped and the train was moving.

For about hour the man was still on the train. He saw a little girl singing and looking out the window in the seat in front of him. That made him smile. He was just so happy after that. She was singing "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" He stood up and started to sing with her. She smiled back and they sang louder as everyone on the train joined in. He couldn't to tell his family in New York about his adventure.

Words

To me we could never live without words?? Well if you think about it,we would have words no matter what... Look around you. What do you see. You probably see letters, letters that make into words. What your reading is words. In a book there are words. When ever we speak we use words. I think words are a very terrific thing and I could never live without them.

Lady Gaga

Lady gaga, I love her, my dad loves her, my mom loves her. I'm not so sure about my brother… All I know that he loves Justin Bieber. Anyway, Lady gaga is a pop singer. You may know her as wearing "The Meat Dress" Or other weird costumes. I love her voice when she sings. My mom loves her music and my dad just thinks she's a great entertainer.

I remember once I was watching this video of her getting interviewed. She said that she thinks when singers where a dress/ or suit they are boring. That is why she makes her outfits crazy. I'm a big fan of Gaga and tonight pay attention because I'm her for Halloween.

Patroit's Essay

When you think about patriotism what does it mostly remind you of? Patriotism is important because people respect their country, home and the men and women that risk their lives. For a long period of time we had presidents. Starting out with George Washington and now ending up with Barak Obama, we respect them which show patriotism. Patriotism can also see when we say the pledge, celebrate Memorial Day, and show support for our military.

Our country is being protected by the military. For me, I respect the military because I have a brother in the air force. I just wonder what’s it’s like to have a dad in a military. My brother Ryan has three daughters. I would think it’s hard because they kind of move a lot. They lived in California than four years ago they moved to Texas. I also have another brother that's thinking about joining the air force. I also have some family that was in the U.S. army. So it’s a big deal for me. If you had family or a close friend in the military would you be supportive?

While the military is one place where we show patriotism, we also see it on Memorial Day. My dad manages cemeteries all threw out Wisconsin. Every Memorial day he has over 100 flags put up throughout his main cemetery (Wisconsin Memorial, on Capitol Drive) Anyway those flags are to honor the men and women that died to keep our country safe. So you can tell there are people in the world that really do respect the United States.

We celebrate Memorial Day once a year but, every day we say the pledge. Every day we usually say the same thing, “The Pledge of Allegiance.” At school we say it; at the beginning of sports we say it. We also sing our National Anthem. Now why would you think we say that? I know, because that’s the perfect way to honor that we have a safe place to live in. That is why patriotism is still important in the United States of America.
